Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing that creates beautiful hairstrokes just under the skin in the eyebrow. It is done manually with a handheld tool rather than machine and requires top ups usually 6-12 months apart to keep the colour and shape fresh.

We are all different, and some skin is more sensitive to pain than others, but having had SPMU treatments myself, I would call it more like irritation rather than pain.

Everyone will need two procedures 4 weeks apart, occasionally a 3rd will be required and we will discuss this at consultation.

You can expect day 1 your brows to look perfect, maybe a little dark and sore... day 2/4 a little too dark still and then the colour will become around 40 - 60% lighter. You'll be advised on healing creams and the correct aftercare, all people heal differently so whilst someone you know may heal beautifully your skin may be more sensitive and you may flake a little over the brows .. after cream will help this.

Unfortunately not I'm not allowed and the insurance will not cover that.

It is UK law that states you must be 18 or over for any kind of cosmetic tattooing.

Occasionally some medications do mean that I wouldn't be able to proceed, I have detailed consultation forms and a medical questionnaire that I'll ask you to fill out before your appointment.

Microblading needs to be carefully considered, my advice is to do your research, check out myself and other technicians until you find someone where you like most or all of the pictures they advertise with. This gives you a good indication of their "style".

I will always listen carefully to your requirements, together we will choose the colour and I'll carefully measure and draw out a guide template of your new brow before we begin. I will then let you check this in the mirror and together we can make any adjustments before the work starts.

The first session will fade considerably and at the top up session the colour and shape can be adjusted if required.

I can do as natural to barely there as you like, to full dark structured glam brows... so don't think microblading is only for a certain younger age bracket or fashion. I've tonnes of ladies in their late 50s early 60s and above, absolutely loving having a soft brow after years of pencilling in.

If you have already had microblading elsewhere and think you just require a top up I need to see you in person so I can ascertain whether or not this is possible. If it is I offer a one off top up for £150.
